Enrollment

The enrollment process at Sweet Clover Preschool begins with a Parent Tour of our school. Email us for more information tours.

We ask that you submit an “About Me,” form so that we may better get to know your child and family.

After an initial tour and the decision that it is a good fit, we ask for New Student Enrollment fee of $250. This will go toward the materials and supplies needed to welcome your child into our community.

Tuition & closures

Tuition is year-round at our school. In other words, we charge the same amount each month to keep our school going and growing despite any closures for holidays or Spring/Summer/Winter Break. Teachers are paid for any closures to ensure a steady income. We follow Portland Public Schools for closures with an exception for a few Teacher In-Service & Personal Days each year. We also have a two week Summer Break (generally coinciding with the last two weeks of PPS’s Summer break).

Sweet Clover offers 4 & 5-day schedules. We are open M-F from 8:30-4:30.

2025 Monthly Rates

4-day schedule: $1525/5-Day Schedule: $1780

The days begin with a drop-off between 8:30 & 9 AM. We ask parents to drop-off before 8:50 so that children can all start the day together for snack and our morning group meeting, when we plan and decide our activities for the day.

Pick-up is preferred between 3:30 & 4:30, though we can make arrangements for your child to be ready for pick-up earlier if your schedule requires it.

Our tuition rates are subject to an annual review of our school’s needs each December.

Tuition is due on or before the beginning of each month your child will be attending. If you require a change in your child’s enrollment, we ask that you give 2 weeks to a month notice, so that we are able to arrange our schedule or fill any possible openings and have the time needed to do so.
